During 4 semester all students have an internship (360 h). General objectives of internship:

preparing students to perform professional tasks in accordance with the expectations of the labor market and creating thefoundations for professional activation;
acquiring the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in the conditions of economic life;
acquiring the ability to shape the economic reality through skills of critical analysis, interpretation and evaluation of facts and expert opinions concerning the management of economic, legal and social aspects of economic, legal and social sector organizations;
shaping social competences: the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment, the ability to communicate, the ability to organize one's own and team work, responsibility for the tasks performed.

The specific objectives of practical education result from the specificity of selected specializations.

Several methods of implementing internship are exist:

	Taking an internship during studies	Professional work for internship
Stage 1:	Submitting an application to the academic tutor at the Department of Management to issue a referral for an internship	Submission to the Director of the Institute of Security and Management, an application for crediting the internship through professional work. Apart from the documents confirming the period of employment (at least 6 months) and the scope of duties performed, the application should be accompanied by a document confirming the learning outcomes achieved during professional work.
Stage 2:	Implementation of the internship, including keeping an internship diary.
Stage 3:	Submitting to the academic tutor at the Department of Management documentation at the end of internship: a certificate confirming an internship and an internship diary.
Stage 4:	Verification by the academic tutor at the Department of Management of the scope of the required learning outcomes and its assessment. A positive assessment is a prerequisite for graduation.
